RedHawks make MAC title game
Sunday, November 18, 2007
The Miami RedHawks clinched the Mid-American Conference East Division football title and a spot in the MAC championship game Saturday thanks to Bowling Green's 31-17 victory over Buffalo.
Regardless of the outcome of Miami's regular-season finale at Ohio U. next Saturday, the RedHawks (6-5 overall, 4-1 MAC East) will do no worse than tie for the East Division crown. Since they hold the tiebreakers over Bowling Green and Buffalo, Miami is guaranteed to represent the East against West Division winner Central Michigan.
