Extras

Leading up to the Mid-American Conference Championship Game against Central Michigan, Miami junior safety Robbie Wilson took some time to talk to the Cox Ohio Publishing.

Q What has been your most memorable moment on a football field?

A I was 13, playing middle school ball. It was 0-0 with 4 seconds left in the fourth quarter. I was a running back, but coach told me to run a quick slant, and it was the first time I'd lined up at receiver, ever, and I caught the game-winning touchdown pass.

Q Your favorite TV show?

A "The Hills." It's on MTV and it's supposed to be reality TV. It appeals to me.

Q Who was your sports hero while growing up?

A My favorite football player was Barry Sanders. I wore his No. 20 from when I was 9 to 13 because I was a fan and I was a running back.

Q Which three items would comprise your perfect meal?

A Triple-chocolate cake, you can never go wrong with a Honey-Baked Ham, and I guess some kind of fruit pie or cobbler, apple or cherry.

Q What would be your perfect vacation spot?

A I would go on a cruise. Then you get to go to three or four spots.
