RedHawks sign goaltender

OXFORD — Miami University's hockey team signed goaltender Cody Reichard to a letter of intent on Wednesday, April 9.

Reichard, a native of Celina, Ohio, went 33-15-2 with a 2.05 goals-against average and .935 save percentage with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League. He was named to the NAHL's South Division Top Prospects Team.

Extras

Reichard is the sixth player to sign with the RedHawks for the 2008-09 season, joining forwards Trent Vogelhuber and Alden Hirschfeld, defensemen Will Weber and Matt Tomassoni and goaltender Connor Knapp.
