OXFORD — Casey Lubahn is the new men's golf coach at Miami University, athletic director Brad Bates announced today, Aug. 5.

Lubahn joins the Miami program after three years as an assistant coach at Michigan State.

A three-year letterwinner for the Spartans, Lubahn finished his career with the fifth-lowest career stroke average in program history. Lubahn earned a bachelor's degree from MSU in 2004.

Additionally, Lubahn recently took part in a reality series called the "Big Break." The series "Big Break X: Michigan" featuring Lubahn and his wife, Rachel, will air on the Golf Channel beginning in October of 2008.

A native of Sand Lake, Mich., Lubahn replaces John Wiler at Miami.
