Ohio State's Pitcock a finalist for Lott trophy

Ohio State defensive tackle Quinn Pitcock was selected as one of three finalists Monday for the Lott Trophy, which goes to the nation's top defensive player who also exhibits high character.
California cornerback Daymeion Hughes and Penn State linebacker Paul Posluszny also were named. The winner will be announced Dec. 10.
