Ohio State students snap up season tickets for men's basketball

Thursday, September 20, 2007

COLUMBUS — Classes began at Ohio State on Wednesday, the same day student ticket packages were sold out for the upcoming men's basketball season.

Students purchased the allotment of 4,000 tickets at Value City Arena, which is celebrating its 10th season as the home court of the Buckeyes.

Extras

Students can still purchase a limited number of single-game tickets for nonconference games. The deadline for students to buy single-game tickets is Oct. 5.

The Buckeyes return one starter from last year's team that won a school-record 35 games against four losses, won its second consecutive regular-season Big Ten title and was runner-up in the NCAA tournament.
