Big Ten Network to show spring game
Scrimmage can be seen live on the Web or on TV Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Dayton-area Ohio State football fans will be able to watch the Buckeyes' spring football game live from their homes for the first time. As long as they have an Internet connection.
The Big Ten Network will stream the scrimmage that concludes spring practice on its Web site — bigtennetwork.com — Saturday, April 19.
Extras
BTN also will air the scrimmage at 11 p.m. that night and at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The all-day, year-round network devoted to Big Ten athletics is available through satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network, but it still is not included on any Time Warner Cable lineup as the two sides continue a stalemate in negotiations.
"We think the Big Ten Network should be on a special sports tier where customers who want it can purchase it," a Time Warner spokesperson said.
As an apparent olive branch to customers upset that the cable operator isn't offering the BTN, Time Warner recently held a promotion on its Web site giving customers a chance to win 10 Buckeyes spring game tickets, which cost $5 each.
"We are having very productive conversations with Comcast, so we're really in a great place as it relates to them," a BTN spokesperson said. "We're also having some productive conversations with Charter and Mediacom, although we're somewhat still far apart.
"With Time Warner, we'd love to engage them as well."
