Ohio State football player arrested for shoplifting at Fairfield Commons

BEAVERCREEK — Ohio State football player Nathan Williams was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a misdemeanor count of theft in the Macy's store at the Mall at Fairfield Commons.
According to an incident report from Beavercreek Police, Williams, 19, shoplifted three shirts valued at $80. He was issued a summons and released on his own recognizance.
Williams, a freshman defensive lineman from Washington Court House, played in eight games for Ohio State this fall and made 17 tackles, including three for loss.
Despite missing four games, the 6-foot-4, 250-pounder tied for fifth on the team with two sacks.
Williams was an all-Ohio selection at Miami Trace High School. His bio in the OSU football media guide mentions that he was a DARE role model in high school.
