About UMass
The front line is probably the best in the A-10. Gary Forbes, a Virginia transfer, scored 31 at Temple. Stephane Lasme is among the national leaders in blocked shots with more than five per game and tops the A-10 in rebounding (9.5 per game). Freeman leads the team in scoring.
Flyer facts
Kurt Huelsman, Monty Scott, Jimmy Binnie, Charles Little and Norman Plummer will be tested. Forbes, Lasme and Rashaun Freeman are a load, as is the Minutemen's pressure defense. UD coach Brian Gregory said rebounding will be key.
Gregory's take
"They're very, very talented. When you watch (Lasme) on film, he seems to be the dominant player and you almost forget about Rashaun Freeman. ... You have to play a complete game from every position and from every fundamental of the game to be successful against them."
