About Miami
The RedHawks won two of three games in the Anaheim Classic in California last weekend, beating South Alabama and Mississippi State. They also led most of the way against Southern Cal and O.J. Mayo before falling, 57-53. Pollitz and Bramos made the all-tournament team. The RedHawks have held opponents under 70 points in 38 straight games, the longest streak in the nation. They're the only team that didn't allow a foe to reach 70 last season. The most they've surrendered this year is 60. Pollitz, who averages a team-high 7.8 rebounds, has made 57 consecutive starts and needs 27 points to reach 1,000.
About Dayton
The Flyers have won five of the last seven games in the series but dropped nine straight to Miami before that. UD is shooting an impressive 40.7 percent from 3-point range but just 59.6 percent from the foul line. Binnie has made five field goals this year, all of them 3-pointers (in 15 attempts). Wright is the team's leading rebounder with an 8.0 average, while reserve forward Charles Little is third in scoring with a 9.3 mark. The Flyers are playing the first of three road games in a four-game stretch against teams that made the NCAA tournament last year. They visit Holy Cross on Saturday and Louisville on Dec. 8.
