WASHINGTON, D.C. — The University of Dayton Flyers won their Atlantic 10 opener at George Washington, beating the Colonials in four games (22-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-18) on Friday, Oct. 3.
Sophomore Tiffany Gaerke led the Flyers with a .412 attack percentage against GW. Gaerke had 18 kills on 34 attempts while adding three block assists and four digs.
Nicole Bateman recorded her eighth double-double of the season picking up 10 kills and a team-leading 18 digs for UD.
