After Old Dominion (2-0) led 32-29 at halftime, the score remained close as Dayton (0-2) came out battling.

Raterman continued to light it up as Dayton fought within one point, 38-37 at 16:09.

The Flyers took the lead after Daugherty connected on a 3-point shot to give UD its first lead of the game 40-38 with 13:18 left.

From that point the teams traded baskets and the lead, but Old Dominion finally went on a 19-5 run to pull away.

Dayton plays again today at 5:30 p.m. against St. Mary's College in the last day of the Classic. Old Dominion will face No. 13 Texas.
