About Miami
Bramos, who scored 36 against UD last season, has made 37-of-76 three-pointers (48.7 percent). With point guard Kenny Hayes out with a wrist injury, the RedHawks have been relying on senior Carl Richburg and freshman Kramer Soderberg to run the show.
About Dayton
The Flyers have thrived with a balanced attack. Marcus Johnson's 21 points against Toledo was just the third 20-point outing by a UD player this season. Rob Lowery had 21 against Marquette and Chris Johnson 20 against Coppin State. Last year, Brian Roberts had 17 games of at least 20 points, including four of 30 or more.
Outlook
The RedHawks have played a strong schedule, but they've won five of their last six games and will be stoked for a rivalry game with the Flyers. They'll miss Hayes' experience, though. And UD's defensive pressure will likely make it tough for his replacements.
Quote
"It's a team that's well-coached and disciplined, and they're more athletic and better basketball players than people give them credit for. They really know how to play the game," UD coach Brian Gregory said.
