Northmont scored the winning touchdown with 52 seconds remaining for an 11-6 win over visiting Cincinnati La Salle on Friday night.
Brad Herr hauled in a 24-yard pass from quarterback Clay Belton for the go-ahead score. The winning drive covered 55 yards in seven plays.

La Salle scored in the first quarter on a 67-yard run by Isaac Green. Northmont got a third-quarter safety when Chris Rutledge tackled the LaSalle quarterback in the end zone to make it 6-2. Kenton Froebe's 25-yard field goal in the fourth quarter made it 6-5 before Herr's winning reception.
Cin. Roger Bacon 10, Valley View 7: The Spartans are off to an 0-2 start for the first time in more than a decade. Nick Trotta caught a 13-yard pass from Ryan Hammoor with 3:03 left in the game for the winning score. Jaryd Smith had the only score for Valley View on an eight-yard pass from Luke Donson.
Centerville 62, Princeton 9: Will Johnson, David Fleming and James Cravens each had two scores for the 2-0 Elks who play Northmont next week.
Trotwood 34. Edgewood 0: Quarterback Dominic Britt had an outstanding night for the 2-0 Rams. He was 15 of 34 passing for 270 yards and a TD and ran the ball 16 times for 80 yards and three scores.
Troy 24, South 14: The Trojans came from behind with 17 fourth-quarter points on TDs by Scott Zink and Ryan Sano and 24-yard field goal from Trevor Stutz.
Tippecanoe 24, Greenville 7: Andrew Ford scored twice as the Red Devils defense held Greenville to 85 yards total offense.
Lebanon 24, Campbell County (Ky.) 14: Nate Woods had two TDs and Dan Broderick scored on a 29-yard return of a blocked punt for the Warriors.
Shawnee 41, West Carrollton 35, 3 OTs: Wesley Miller had the winning TD for the Braves in a wild finish.
Sycamore 48, Springboro 12: Sycamore had too much offense for the Panthers, leading 28-6 at halftime.
Covington 36, Tri-County North 32: Seth Mohler caught a three-yard scoring pass from Gene Studebaker with 18 seconds left for the winning TD for the Buccs.
Yellow Springs 21, Greeneview 13: Antonio Woodward's 71-yard return of a recovered fumble turned out to be the winning touchdown for the Bulldogs. Greeneview has lost 13 straight and 26 of its last 27 games.
Fairmont 37, Miamisburg 28: The Firebirds had good offensive balance with Alex Gross rushing 32 times for 194 yards and two scores and QB Mark Pedro hitting 9 of 13 passes for 201 yards and two scores.
Tecumseh 21, Vandalia-Butler 20: The Arrows had a big night on the ground with 446 yards rushing as a team on 64 carries. They were 0 for 2 passing. Josh McKee had 155 yards rushing, Tony Pellegrino 140 and Billy Alexander 97. Pellegrino had the winning TD on a four-yard run in the third quarter. Butler missed two extra point kicks.
Cin. Woodward 18, Belmont 14: Kryon Payne scored the winning TD after a bad Belmont snap from center on a punt attempt was recovered on the 1-yard line. Wes Ryder and Demetrious Trapps had the Belmont scores.
Franklin 24, Preble Shawnee 7: Zach Young and Josh Nickell each had third-quarter touchdowns as the Wildcats broke the game open to improve to 2-0.
Greenon 35, Cedarville 13: Senior running back Steve Jackson gained 282 yards on 33 carries and had four TDs for the 2-0 Knights.
Eaton 55, Madison 7: Jeremy Fudge had four touchdown passes in the first half as the Eagles built a 42-0 lead.
New Bremen 20, Anna 14 OT: Anna's first game in the Midwest Athletic Conference was a rough one. The Rockets blew a 14-0 lead. Bremen's winning TD came on the second play of the OT on a 19-yard pass from Bryce Bergman to Cory Barlage.
Ansonia 31, Bradford 16: Eric Beisner had 101 yards rushing and Logan Beam 100 for the Tigers. A 70-yard pass interception for a TD by Kyle Siefring in the third quarter broke the game open for the winners.
Catholic Central 15, Danville, 0: Brian Wagner rushed for 120 yards and Brendan Sullivan had three pass interceptions for the Irish, who held Danville to 62 yards total offense.
Coldwater 27, Marion Local 6: QB Tony Slavic passed for one score and threw for another as the Cavs won their 17th straight.
