Roundup of Friday's other games: Week 8

Trotwood-Madison quarterback Domonick Britt went over 2,000 yards passing for the high school football season Friday night in the Rams' 41-21 defeat of Troy.

Britt was 19-of-28 throwing for 278 yards and touchdown passes of 52 and 6 yards to Roy Roundtree. Britt is 127-of-230 for the season for 2,221 yards and 17 TDs.

Extras

Roundtree had 10 catches for 151 yards. Britt also rushed 21 times for 91 yards and two scores as the Rams improved to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in the North Division of the Greater Western Ohio Conference.

Carroll 45, West Carrollton 20: The stage is now set for next week's battle of the unbeatens between Carroll and Alter, both 8-0. David McComas led the Patriots with 141 yards rushing and five TDs.

Alter 27, Cin. Purcell Marian 0: The Knights defense held Purcell to 69 yards total offense. Michael Shaw had two TDs, while QB Steve O'Donnell ran 48 yards for another.

Piqua 31, Sidney 7: The Indians (7-1, 3-0 GWOC North) broke it open with two TDs in the last 26 seconds of the first half. Justin Hemm threw a 14-yard scoring pass to Pete Rolfe with 26 seconds left after Piqua recovered a Sidney fumble. The Indians tried an onside kick and recovered it. Then Hemm threw a 33-yard TD pass to Kyle Baughman with no time left in the half.

Beavecreek 48, Spg. South 16: The Beavers (3-5) posted their second straight win as Dee Wallace ran for 199 yards and two TDs and Eric Hill scored four times, one on an 84-yard punt return.

Fairmont 20, North 0: The Firebirds (6-2) defense kept North out of the end zone, and Alex Gross led the offense with 112 yards rushing, putting him over 1,000 yards for the season.

Lebanon 26, Fairborn 21: QB Shaun Addison rushed 21 times for 158 yards and a TD as the Warriors (5-3) took over the lead in the GWOC South Division at 2-0.

Springboro 34, Xenia 22: The Panthers (2-6) broke a five-game losing streak. Mike Kindel was their leading rusher with 119 yards and a TD.

Miamisburg 27, Greenville 0: The Vikings (3-5) won their second straight. QB Jason Williams ran for two TDs and hit Justin McCartney from 43 yards out for a third. Dylan Crouse had 142 yards rushing.

Stebbins 28, Graham 21: Nate Hatton's 2-yard run with 3:38 left was the winning score as the Indians (1-7) won for the first time. James Tyus had a 90-yard kickoff return for the winners.

Bellbrook 30, Brookville 7: Ryan Rutledge had three TD passes for the Eagles.

Monroe 46, Dixie 0: Tyler Osterman was 7-of-16 passing for 209 yards and five TDs as the Hornets improved to 7-1, 4-0 in the Buckeye Division of the Southwestern Ohio Buckeye League.

Waynesville 27, Northridge 7: The win sets up a big game with Waynesville (6-2, 4-0 SWBL Buckeye) vs. Monroe next week. QB Joe Lamb ran for 158 yards on 22 tries and was 10-of-19 passing for 193 yards.

Eaton 38, Franklin 20: Ben Noble had 190 yards rushing and three TDs for the Eagles (7-1, 4-1 SWBL Southwestern Division).

Dayton Christian 36, Yellow Springs 14: James Drakeford caught two TD passes for 4-4 DC.

Spg. Catholic Central 36, West Liberty-Salem 10: Brian Wagner picked up 215 yards on 17 carries and scored three TDs for 6-1 Irish. West Liberty is 6-2.

Marion Local 28, Delphos St. John's 21: The Flyers (6-2) win their fifth straight and took a big step toward making the Division VI playoffs. They came from behind with 16 points in the fourth quarter. Marc Otte scored the winning TD with 2:33 to go on 3-yard run. He had 176 yards rushing and four scores.

St. Marys 21, Kenton 14: Koby Frey had 170 yards on 40 carries and three scores for the 6-2 Roughriders.

Anna 19, Parkway 14: Kyle Muehlfeld had a pair of TD passes for the 5-3 Rockets.

Ansonia 34, Miami East 7: Eric Beisner had a career-high 260 yards on 30 carries and four TDs, one for 95 yards, for the 4-3 Tigers.

Twin Valley South 31, National Trail 0: Josh Flynn threw for three TDs and ran for another as the Panthers (2-6) won their second straight after breaking a 35-game losing streak last week

Coldwater 23, Versailles 14: The Cavs scored 16 points in the fourth quarter to remain undefeated at 8-0.
