Wayne's combination of Tyler Milligan to Troy Gilmer proved deadly for Centerville in boys high school basketball Friday night. Gilmer got a great pass in the lane from Milligan and hit a 6-foot jumper at the buzzer to give the host Warriors a 59-57 win.
The loss broke an eight-game winning streak for Centerville (15-3), which got a game-tying 3-pointer from Andrew Kubaszewski with 8 seconds remaining.

Centerville had clinched the Central Division title in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (8-1). Wayne (5-4) is tied for second with Fairmont and Beavercreek.
Fairmont 50, Beavercreek 39 OT: Offense was at a premium in this one as Creek (13-5) scored only three points in the fourth quarter and the extra period. Visiting Fairmont (11-6) had three points in the fourth but outscored the Beavers 12-1 in the added four minutes. Lamar Skeeter had 26 points for Fairmont; Justin Tillman 13 for Beavercreek.
Northmont 65, Troy 31: The win at home for the Thunderbolts (11-5) gives them a tight grip on second place in the GWOC North at 6-2. Davin Lewis led balanced scoring with 11 points.
Springboro 84, Fairborn 62: The win puts the visiting Panthers (9-8) in a first-place tie with Xenia in the GWOC South. Both are 5-2. Xenia was idle Friday. Aaron Stonecash led the winners with 31 points, supported by Andy Ungerman with 21. Josh Copeland had 26 for Fairborn (3-14).
Miamisburg 56, Lebanon 42: Garrett Dobrick scored 21 as the visiting Pirates (6-11) broke a four-game losing streak. Derek Helleman had 17 for Lebanon (7-10).
Dunbar 73, Cin. Western Hills 51: The host Wolverines (14-4) got good production from their big men as 6-foot-9 Aaron Pogue had 14 points and 17 rebounds, while 6-10 Josh Benson had 14 points.
Tippecanoe 81, Urbana 31: The Red Devils move to 17-0 and 9-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division. Kellen Zawadzki had 18 points, Kyle Corbin 17, Robert Goldsberry 12 and David Strawser 11.
Alter 63, Fenwick 30: The Knights (16-1) extended their winning streak to 14 games. Paris Harris and J.J. Laumann each had 16 points.
Chaminade-Julienne 50, Carroll 42: Brian Scott scored 21 for the 8-9 Eagles. Kevin Vest led Carroll with 13.
Jefferson 69, Yellow Springs 53: The host Broncos (15-2) clinched the championship of the Metro Buckeye Conference, where they are 12-0. Derek Ober scored 17 points, followed by Dwayne Sanders and Tony Graham with 13 each.
Dayton Christian 63, Xenia Christian 48: Aaron Deister scored 22 to lead DC (10-7), and Nick Farrell added 15.
West Carrollton 63, Greenville 56: Mason Reynolds scored 16 and Steve Fannin 12 for the host Pirates (10-8).
