Botkins upset Russia, the state's No. 1 Division IV team, 63-60 in overtime Friday night in boys high school basketball.
Travis Dietz hit a 3-point shot at the buzzer in the overtime for the winning basket. The loss gives Russia an 18-1 record, 11-1 in the Shelby County League. Botkins (12-7, 8-4) was led by Xavier Counts and Dietz with 18 each. Chett Borchers and Mitch Hoying had 13 each for Russia.

New Knoxville 61, Marion Local 57: The Rangers, No. 2 in the state D-IV poll, are now 18-0. Ross Stienecker was their leading scorer with 29.
Tippecanoe 72, Tecumseh 56: The win gives Tipp its second straight 20-0 season and 47 straight regular-season wins. It also is the third straight year the Red Devils have won the Kenton Trail Division of the Central Buckeye Conference at 20-0. Kellen Zawadzki and Kyle Corbin led the winners with 18 each.
Centerville 38, Beavercreek 36: T.J. Kinzig hit the winning shot for the visiting Elks (16-3), who have won the Central Division of the Greater Western Ohio Conference at 9-1. Matt Kavanaugh had 21 points for Centerville. Alex Marolo finished with 10 points for Beavercreek (13-6, 5-5).
Fairmont 58, Spg. North 30: Lamar Skeeter had 24 points and Nick Molz 16 as the host Firebirds (14-6) closed out the regular season with four straight wins to finish second in the GWOC Central at 6-4.
Lebanon 60, Springboro 58: Jason Michelson's eight-foot jumper at the buzzer was the winning shot for the Warriors (9-10, 4-4 GWOC South). Michelson had 18 points for the game. Austin McMahan had 22 points for Springboro (9-9, 5-3), which needed a win to tie Xenia for the South title.
Xenia 85, Miamisburg 56: The win, coupled with Lebanon's victory over Springboro, gives the host Bucs (10-8) the GWOC South championship at 6-2. Chris Oakes was their leading scorer with 24.
Trotwood-Madison 82, Vandalia Butler 57: The Rams (17-1) completed a sweep of the GWOC North at 10-0. Chris Wright had 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Oakwood 69, Franklin 60: The win gives the Lumberjacks (17-1) the Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division title at 10-1. Chris Hardy had 13 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
Carlisle 46, Dixie 45: Braxston Campbell's old-fashioned three-point play with 30 seconds remaining provided the winning points as host Carlisle (15-5) won its fifth straight.
Alter 63, Carroll 49: A 9-0 run to begin the second half put the visiting Knights (17-1) in control after a 27-all tie at the half. Ryan Siggins had 20 points and J.J. Laumann 15 points and eight assists for Alter.
Chaminade-Julienne 59, Fenwick 36: Brian Scott scored 27 of his game-high 33 points in the first half for the host Eagles (9-11).
Troy Christian 57, Jefferson 54: The loss was the first in the Metro Buckeye Conference for the Broncos (16-3, 12-1). Aaron Godsey had 18 points for TC (16-4, 11-3). Rondale Beard had 12 points for Jefferson.
Dunbar 92, Colonel White 70: Josh Benson scored 19, Norris Cole 17 and Anthony Oden 14 as the defending Division II state champs finished 16-4.
Belmont 79, Meadowdale 70: Jesse Boatwright led five players in double figures for the Bison (5-15). Donnie Lee had 21 points and 12 rebounds for Meadowdale (5-14).
