Twin Valley South kept its hope alive for the outright Cross County Conference boys high school basketball title by posting its eighth straight win Tuesday, 62-51 over Miami East.
Steve Summers had 30 points for the Panthers (14-3). They lead the CCC at 9-1 with two games left. The loss is the third in the last four games for East (11-6, 7-3).

Franklin-Monore 65, Ansonia 39: Bill Taylor scored 26 for the Jets (10-7, 8-2 CCC). They face Tri-Village (13-4, 9-2 CCC) on Friday.
Arcanum 55, Covington 34: Brenton Blasbaugh led four players in double figures for the Trojans (11-6, 8-3 CCC) with 14 points.
Wayne 101, Fairborn 67: Lamar Mallory led six players in double figures with 27 points as the Warriors (16-1) won their 16th straight in a Greater Western Ohio Conference crossover game that didn't count in the standings.
Centerville 71, Xenia 38: Andrew Kubaszewski had 21 points and Matt Kavanaugh 20 for the 15-2 Elks in a GWOC crossover game.
Lebanon 66, Spg. South 56: Derek Helleman surpassed 1,000 points in his career with 25 points and 22 rebounds for the Warriors (9-7) in another GWOC crossover.
Springboro 65, Franklin 42: Austin McMahan tallied 18 points as the Panthers (10-7) won their fourth straight.
Northmont 71, Miamisburg 47: Brian Tolle had 19 points and Steve Newell 13 as the Thunderbolts moved to 15-1 in GWOC crossover play.
Fairmont 57, Troy 38: Mark Shadowens scored 17 and Drew Sawyer 15 for the
6-12 Firebirds.
Graham 45, Piqua 40: The Falcons are 16-0 after Josh Schuler scored 12 points and Travis Crooks 10.
West Carrollton 59, Kings 48: Steven Kocol had 16 points as the Pirates moved to 14-2.
Jefferson 59, Belmont 49: Aderian Payne had 11 points, 17 rebounds and 10 blocked shots for the Broncos (10-6) while Reggie Beard had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Bellbrook 58, Waynesville 54: Taylor Click scored 20 for the Eagles (13-3) in the SWBL crossover game.
Oakwood 72, Northeastern 32: Jake Mays scored 16 and Robbie Sherk 15 as the Lumberjacks (12-5) won their fourth straight.
Tecumseh 63, Bellefontaine 58: Josh McKee threw in 37 points for the 15-2 Arrows.
