Dayton Christian boys fall to KR.

Kenton Ridge High School bullied Dayton Christian 6-1 in boys soccer Saturday, Aug. 30.
Mohammed Salhieh paced the Cougars with two goals and two assists. Daunte Darden notched a goal and two assists for Kenton Ridge as well.
Josh Thomas scored the lone goal for the Warriors.
Kenton Ridge improves to 3-0; Dayton Christian falls to 2-3.
Centerville 3, Cin. Moeller 1: Alex Argyris scored two goals for Centerville, which won its fourth in a row. Moeller falls to 1-2-1 with the loss. Centerville improves to 4-0.
Chaminade-Julienne 1, Bellbrook 1: Matt Bly put Bellbrook ahead, but Eddie Ruff scored the tying goal for C-J to avoid the loss. Bellbrook's record is 4-1-1, and C-J's is 0-1-1.
Girls soccer
Wayne 1, Tippecanoe 1: The Warriors struck first with Lauren Bishnow's goal in the second half, but Emily McKinney notched the tying goal for Tippecanoe with 23 minutes left to play. Wayne's record is 2-1-2, and Tippecanoe's is 1-0-2.
Sidney 1, Stebbins 0: Taylor Rickert put her free kick in the back of the net to hand Stebbins its first loss. Stebbins is 3-1-0, while Sidney is
5-0-0.
Lehman Catholic 7, Yellow Springs 0: Brittney McDonagh had a hat trick and an assist for Lehman Catholic. Keeper Caitlin Jenkins got the shutout with eight saves. Lehman Catholic improves to 3-0; Yellow Springs falls to 3-1.
Centerville 3, Carroll 0: Kacie Kumar had a goal and an assist, and keeper Cassie Lythjohan pitched the shutout for the Elks, who improve to 5-0-0. Carroll falls to 2-1-0.
Volleyball
Marion Local defeated Toledo Whitmer, St. Henry and Celina to win the Celina Invitational for the fifth straight year. Sophomore Kely Schlarman had 29 kills, and senior Tara Hartings had 31 assists to pace the Flyers, who improve to 6-0.
Cross country
Kenton Ridge won the boys and girls races in the Miamisburg Cross Country Invitational, scoring a 53 for the boys and a 38 for the girls.
Middletown's Philip Sliger finished in first place individually for the boys. Oakwood's Peter Hix was second, and Fairborn's Jordan Redd finished third.
Miamisburg's Megan Wright took first place by almost two full minutes for the girls. Erin Taylor and Liz Connelly of Oakwood finished second and third.
