Three from Alter offense named to D-IV All-Ohio first team

Alter's dominace of Division IV football in Southwestern Ohio was reflected on the Associated Press All-Ohio football team, released Tuesday night, Nov. 25, in Columbus.
The Knights had three first team selections on offense — tackle Evan Neff, quarterback Austin Boucher and running back Chris Borland.
Boucher, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior, was one of three offensive players of the year in the division along quarterbacks Dwight Macon of Steubenville and Micah Hyde of Fostoria. Boucher and Macon will square off in the state championship game Friday, Nov. 28.
Coldwater linebacker Adam Homan, who is headed for Ohio Sate, was one of four defensive players of the year.
Other Coldwater first teamers were running back Tony Harlamert, kicker Mario de la Rosa and defensive tackle Brock Pleiman. Clinton-Massie's Logan McCormick was a first-team defensive back.
Anna, Waynesville and Marion Local had two first teamers in Division V.
Waynesville's picks were junior running back Seth Millar and senior defensive back Brady Deters. Marion had
running back Ben Smith and lineman Austin Pohlman. Anna's honorees were linebacker Monty Counts and offensive lineman Eric Niekamp.
Other area D-V first teamers were Miami East running back Sam Smallwood and St. Henry defensive back Nick Rindler.
First team picks from area schools in Division VI were offensive tackle Nick Pulfer and defensive tackle Jordan Cisco of Lehman Catholic and Springfield Catholic quarterback Brendan Kelly.
