When right tackle Willie Anderson returns from a sore right foot, the offensive line will be whole.

"It's no doubt that they'll be ready (for the Sept. 10 opener)," right guard Bobbie Williams said. "That ain't even a question. Whenever they get out here together, it'll be a family reunion."
Surgery for Lewis
Head coach Marvin Lewis will undergo surgery today to repair torn tendons in his left ankle. Dr. Jim Amis will perform the operation at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Assistant head coach Paul Alexander, who coaches the offensive line, will take over in Lewis' absence.
"The timing of this is not what I wanted," Lewis said. "But I've been counseled it's the best plan to ensure that I can be fully productive during the regular season."
Fullback frenzy
Fullback Jeremi Johnson, who has recovered from a pulled right hamstring, practiced for a second straight day. "I wish I could've been out there with the team in training camp, grinding with 'em, but I couldn't," he said. "I'm taking full advantage of it now."
Middle man
Ed Hartwell said he's been told to beef his weight up to between 240 and 245 pounds — more evidence he'll be taking over at middle linebacker.
Hartwell entered training camp at 235 as a backup to outside linebacker Landon Johnson.
"(The coaches) wanted me to learn outside first," Hartwell said. "I've been playing inside all my life, so I'm a way better inside linebacker than outside."
On the shelf
Linebacker Eric Henderson was placed on injured reserve, ending his season. He suffered a right wrist fracture against New Orleans on Saturday.
