Oct. 14: at Kansas City (2-2), 1 p.m.; Chiefs have scored only 56 points, but they're dangerous at home. Bengals win (2-3).

Oct. 21: N.Y. JETS (1-3), 4:05 p.m. Chad Pennington is a streaky QB. He's too brittle and inconsistent. Bengals win (3-3).

Oct. 28: PITTSBURGH (3-1), 1 p.m. Steelers, as usual, run and stop the run. They have the better "D.' Bengals lose (3-4).

Nov. 4: at Buffalo (1-3), 1 p.m. Feisty Bills will put up a fight, but Bengals have too much firepower. Bengals win (4-4).

Nov. 11: at Baltimore (2-2), 4:05 p.m. Ravens got old in a hurry. Defense is shaky and offense is weak. Bengals win (5-4).

Nov. 18: ARIZONA (2-2), 1 p.m. In a battle of Heisman Trophy QBs, Carson Palmer KO's Matt Leinart. Bengals win (6-4).

Nov. 25: TENNESSEE (2-1), 1 p.m. QB Vince Young is the real deal, making plays with his arm and legs. Bengals lose (6-5).

Dec. 2: at Pittsburgh (3-1), 8:15 p.m. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has opened up the offense for Big Ben. Bengals lose (6-6).

Dec. 9: ST. LOUIS (0-4), 1 p.m. Once the 'Greatest Show on Turf,' the curtain's down on the Rams. Bengals win (7-6).

Dec. 15: at San Francisco (2-2), 8:15 p.m. Bengals don't function well on the Left Coast. It's a Twilight Zone. Bengals lose (7-7).

Dec. 23: CLEVELAND (2-2), 1 p.m. Browns won't survive stretch of road games. Payback time at PBS. Bengals win (8-7).
