QB Fitzpatrick signs Bengals' offer

Cincinnati Bengals backup quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick signed the club's one-year tender offer of $927,000 as a restricted free agent on Thursday.
Fitzpatrick, a fourth-year NFL veteran from Harvard who was obtained in a trade with the St. Louis Rams on Sept. 1, remains at No. 2 on the team's depth chart behind Carson Palmer, and ahead of Jeff Rowe and Jordan Palmer.
