Re "Strickland listens to Twin Valley concerns, but won't make promises," March 5: Gov. Ted Strickland said that he wasn't fully aware of the implications closing Twin Valley could have on psychiatry and psychology programs at Wright State University. Strickland should be more concerned about the patients at Twin Valley than students at Wright State.

Gov. Ted Strickland's decision to close Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare shows he's no friend to Ohioans.

With the proposed closing of Twin Valley, can the Dayton-area economy afford to lose 200 more jobs and incur the added expenses of transporting mentally ill patients to other facilities?

Gov. Ted Strickland has ignored his constituents in the Dayton area and took a long time to meet with local officials about the closing of Twin Valley, but he seemed to find plenty of time to follow Hillary Clinton all over the state. I have lost all respect for him as a public servant and as a caring person.

Gov. Ted Strickland, after witnessing the passage of the Human Services megalevy and Joe Szoke's (director of the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board of Montgomery County) salary, must have concluded that Montgomery County had plenty of money to pay for its own mentally ill.
