RedHawks volleyball sweep Bobcats

OXFORD — The Miami Univeristy volleyball team moved into first place in the Mid-American Conference with a 3-0 win Sunday, Oct. 5, over the Ohio Bobcats.

Emily Schroeder had 12 kills and Andrea Atteberry dished out 32 assists to lead Miami, which moved to 9-7 overall and 3-0 in the MAC. Ohio fell to 9-6, 2-2.

Miami field hockey beats Ohio

OXFORD — The Miami University field hockey team knocked off Ohio 2-1 Sunday, Oct. 5, the RedHawks first win over the Bobcats in three seasons.

Mary Hull and Christine Brightwell scored for Miami, which improved to 8-3 overall and 3-1 in the Mid-American Conference. Elizabeth Gilroy and Danielle Gaynor had assists for the RedHawks.
