Brian Kollars has worked for the Dayton Daily News since 2003. He was named Sports Editor in 2005. He has edited several award-winning sections and his writing awards include a Best of Gannett in 1991.
Brian was born and raised in Yankton, S.D., and is a graduate of Valparaiso University. He enjoys coaching Little League Baseball and lives in Oakwood with his wife and three children. Brian cannot stand domed stadiums or artificial turf.
