Betting on the Reds to win the World Series could pay off big time

Looks like at least one Las Vegas sportsbook’s oddsmakers were not impressed with the Cincinnati Reds in spring training.

Bovada announced Friday the Reds’ odds to win the World Series dropped from 150/1 in February to 200/1 now.

They join the Milwaukee Brewers as the longest shots to win it all as the season is set to begin.

Those two clubs are both 75/1 to win the National League pennant and 33/1 to win the NL Central.

The over/under for Reds wins is set at 70.5.

The defending champion Chicago Cubs have the best World Series winning odds at 9/2, a number at which you can also get the Boston Red Sox.

The Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers are just behind them at 9/1.
