Bengals make a pair of roster moves ahead off the start of camp

The Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday placed rookie sixth-round defensive back Brandon Wilson on the Non-Football Injury list and put undrafted rookie running back Jarveon Williams on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Both players will continue to count against the 90-man roster limit, and they can be activated to practice as soon as they are medically cleared.

The bigger news is a move that was not made, with first-round pick John Ross not being placed on the PUP list on the day rookies reported. He had labrum surgery after the Combine and missed all of the offseason workouts.

Bengals veterans report tomorrow, at which point the team will make a decision on whether to place running back Giovani Bernard (knee) and/or right end Tyler Eifert (back) on the PUP list.
