3 Bengals miss practice with injuries

Cincinnati Bengals rookie first-round pick John Ross did not practice Wednesday due to the left knee injury he suffered in Thursday’s preseason game at Indianapolis.

The wide receiver missed the first two preseason games while recovering from offseason labrum surgery before leaving early in the finale due to what he called a non-contact injury.

“I got tied up because I cut so hard,” he said. “My cleats got stuck.”

Ross would not confirm the report from Ian Rapoport that he will miss at least the opener and likely won’t play until Week 3, saying no one has told him he isn’t playing Sunday.

Ross was at practice doing rehab on the side field with the two other players who did not practice, safety Shawn Williams (shoulder) and tight end C.J. Uzomah (ankle).

Wide receiver Tyler Boyd showed up on the injury report with a hamstring, although he was a full participant, as were tight end Tyler Eifert (knee), running back Jeremy Hill (ankle) and safety George Iloka (knee).

For the Ravens, quarterback Joe Flacco (back) was a full participant, along with wide receivers Jeremy Maclin (hand), Breshad Perriman (thigh), tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee) and running back Danny Woodhead (thigh).

Cornerback Jaylen Hill (thigh) did not practice, while cornerback Sheldon Price (concussion) was limited.
