The Dayton Dragons are seeking fun, energetic, and enthusiastic performers to be on-field entertainment hosts and mascot performers with the Green Team next season and will conduct auditions Nov. 5 at Fifth Third Field.
The Green Team is the Dragons’ professional entertainment staff and members facilitate all in-game skits during games and other special events
Register for an audition time at www.daytondragons.com. Auditions will include dancing, improvisation, and interview questions. A professional résumé with references is required. Candidates must be at least 16 on Jan. 1, 2017.

The Dayton Flyers men’s and women’s basketball programs will play their annual Red and Blue Game on Oct. 22 at UD Arena. Doors open at 1 p.m. The women scrimmages at 2 p.m., the men at 3.
Players from both teams will sign autographs approximately 15 minutes after the men’s scrimmage. Fans are permitted to bring one item for players to sign, and team posters will be handed out.
Training camp held
for Junior Raiders
The Wright State University Raider cheerleaders and dancers will hold registration and training camp for the 2016-17 Junior Raider Cheerleaders program Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon and Oct. 23 from 1-4 p.m. at the Wright State Nutter Center.

The Dayton Diamonds women’s football team will hold tryouts for the 2017 season every Saturday through October from noon to 3 p.m. at Triangle Park in Dayton. There is no fee to try out.

A class is being held Mondays and Thursdays through Oct. 31 from 6-9 p.m. at West Carrollton High School designed for anyone wishing to become a licensed Ohio high school basketball official.
