Centerville, Alter win district soccer titles

Amy Henry scored her second goal with 6:40 left as Centerville High School edged Wayne 2-1 and won a Division I high school girls soccer district title at Northmont on Thursday night.

Centerville takes a 14-1-5 record into Wednesday's regional semis against Ursuline, a 6-2 winner over Bellbrook, also Thursday. Cara Eby scored for Wayne (15-3-2).

Alter 1, Wyoming 0: Natalie Petrosino scored off a throw-in 15 minutes into the first half for the Knights (16-1-2) in a D-II district final at Mason. Alter plays Indian Hill in Wednesday's regional semi.

Indian Hill 5, Graham 0: The Braves (15-4) bolted to a 3-0 halftime lead and posted their 11th shutout to advance in a D-II final at Mason. Caitlin Zook had 22 saves in goal for the Falcons (13-4-2).
