They were 17-10 overall last season and were picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll. … In non-conference play, Davidson didn't beat anyone ranked in the top 240 of the Pomeroy ratings. Its worst loss was to No. 231 Appalachian State. … Davidson has five foreign-born players on the roster: Dustin Kovacevic (Serbia); Nathan Ekwu (Nigeria), who's out for the season with a knee injury; Gudmundsson (Iceland); Michelsen (Finland); and Will Magarity (Sweden).
