Big second-half run carries Dayton Flyers to win

The Dayton Flyers ran off 20 straight points in the second half and then held on for an 83-70 victory against George Mason on Tuesday at UD Arena.

Star of the game: John Crosby led the Flyers during the big run. He finished with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting.

Stat of the game: The Flyers committed only five turnovers. George Mason had 17.

Big picture: Dayton's seniors won their 100th game. The Flyers improved to 22-5 and 13-2 in the Atlantic 10 with three games left in the regular season. They took a half game lead over idle VCU, which hosts Saint Louis on Wednesday.
