Final: Wright State 76, Milwaukee 65

Wright State junior guard Grant Benzinger scored 21 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds to help carry the Raiders to a 76-65 victory against Milwaukee on Thursday night at the Nutter Center.

Benzinger eclipsed his previous high of 10 rebounds before the first half ended as WSU (16-9, 7-5 Horizon League) jumped out to an early 11-point lead and never trailed.

He made 5 of 6 3-pointers and was one of four players in double figures. Junior guard Mark Alstork scored a game-high 22, senior forward Steven Davis added 14 and senior guard Mike La Tulip chipped in 11.

The win capped a season sweep of the Panthers (8-18, 4-9 HL), who dropped their fourth in a row.

Wright State returns to action Saturday at home against Green Bay.
