Former Stebbins boys coach Finn succeeds Woessner with Oakwood girls

Former Stebbins boys basketball coach Jeremey Finn has been named the Oakwood High School girls basketball coach. He succeeds Adam Woessner.

That was the second girls coaching change announced on Tuesday. Earlier, Randy Duff was named Chaminade Julienne's girls coach, succeeding Mandy Myers. Duff previously was the coach at Miami Valley.

Finn guided the Stebbins boys from 2009-16. He currently is the Cincinnati Heat Premier State 17U AAU girls coach. He’s also the assistant principal/Dean of Students at Spinning Hills in the Mad River Local Schools district.

“This is an excellent opportunity for me to share what I have learned and also what will be expected moving forward,” Finn said in a release. “Our girls will continue to compete at a high level and also represent the basketball program in a positive manner that will make our community proud.”

Oakwood was 8-14 last season and 4-8 in the Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division. Woessner guided the Jills for four seasons.
