Wayne 45, Miamisburg 3: Marc Pendleton of the Dayton Daily News had one question following the Wayne High School football team's win over Miamisburg on Friday.

Alter 49, Roger Bacon 0: Alex Pack had two 1-yard TD runs in the first half to go with seven total rushing scores for the Knights.

Beavercreek 44, Dunbar 27: Stone Kincer rushed for 160 yards and Tim Bradshaw added 109 on the ground for the Beavers. Jeffery Wagner led Dunbar with 187 yards rushing and two TDs.

Bellbrook 31, Eaton 28: Chase Sawyer nailed an 18-yard field goal as time expired to give Bellbrook the road win. Damon Willard scored three touchdowns for Eaton.

Canfield 48, Sidney 28: Sidney scored 21 fourth-quarter points with the help of two TD passes from Caleb Roberts, a 24-yarder to Tyren Cox and an 80-yard strike to Anthony Yates. Eric Barnes finished with 140 yards rushing for the Yellow Jackets.

Centerville 61, West Carrollton 6: Damian Popp (148 yards) and Dominic Ashburn (133) led the Elks' rushing attack. Both scored twice. The Pirates' points came on a 92-yard fumble return by Spencer O'Day in the second quarter.

Chaminade Julienne 41, Purcell Marian 14: CJ's Antwand Wilson rushed for four touchdowns in this Saturday contest.

Clinton-Massie 70, Washington Court House 0: Massie won its 40th straight league contest. Chayse Wolf rushed four times for 130 yards and two TDs. Falcons QB Hunter Fentress completed all four of his passes for touchdowns.

Col. Hartley 30, Thurgood Marshall 29: Hartley's Quri Hickman scored on a 1-yard run with 13 seconds left to tie the game, and the ensuing extra point gave the Hawks the comeback victory over the Cougars. Jamahl Manley had two TD passes for Marshall.

Coldwater 34, Anna 21: Brody Hoying threw for 228 yards and two TDs and rushed 17 times for 97 yards and two more scores for Coldwater. Anna's Christian Williams finished with 93 yards rushing.

Covington 40, Cin. Prep 0: Six players found the end zone for the Buccs.

Fairmont 21, Greenville 7: Jaryd Murphy had two rushing touchdowns for the Firebirds.

Fenwick 42, Badin 7: Warren Kusneske had five touchdowns, including four rushing. The Fenwick senior finished with 130 yards on the ground.

Fort Loramie 49, Waynesfield-Goshen 6: Brad Pleiman ran for two TDs and returned an interception 80 yards for another score.

Fort Recovery 42, Parkway 8: Caleb Martin connected on TD passes to Wes Wenning, Mitch Stammen and Darien Sheffer.

Greeneview 38, Triad 21: Chance Frye and Alex Blakely each ran for two TDs for the Rams. Triad's Briley Harlan finished with 105 yards receiving.

Kenton Ridge 70, Northwestern 13: Cougars QB Mitchell Schneider completed 12-of-19 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns and added 104 yards rushing and another score on the ground. Jayden Davis rushed for 131 yards and two TDs and caught four passes for 98 yards and a TD. KR intercepted five passes, including two that were returned for touchdowns by Christian Smith and Will Lawson.

Lehman Catholic 48, Riverside 20: Skylar Brown, Greg Spearman, and Mitch Slater all had two touchdowns for the Cavaliers.

McNicholas 27, Carroll 17: Carroll's Patrick Shiner rushed 20 times for 76 yards and one touchdown. Senior Thomas Barnes belted a 51-yard field goal to tie the game before halftime.

Mechanicsburg 46, Cedarville 13: Sophomore QB Kaleb Romero threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 77 and two more TDs. Senior receiver Joe Ziegler grabbed four passes for 94 yards and two TDs and senior Aeryton Erwin rushed for 120 yards and two TDs on 17 carries. Senior Caleb Coe led Cedarville with 100 yards on 12 carries.

Miami East 42, Mississinawa Valley 14: Conner Hellyer was 6-of-6 passing for 144 yards and two touchdowns for Miami East. Vikings running back Kurt Brower added 121 yards on nine carries and scored twice.

Milton-Union 58, Preble Shawnee 28: Brad Stine piled up 380 yards rushing and scored five TDs for the Bulldogs. Chase Martens added 149 yards rushing and two scores for Milton-Union.

Minster 34, Versailles 19: Eli Wolf caught a pair of touchdown passes for Minster and also recovered a fumble in the end zone for another score.

National Trail 60, Ansonia 36: National Trail QB Garrett Griffin threw for 353 yards and six touchdowns. Phillip White caught seven passes for 214 yards and three TDs for the Blazers.

Oakwood 28, Madison 7: Oakwood's Michael Hoecht had a rushing touchdown in each quarter and finished with 165 yards rushing.

Piqua 28, Fairborn 14: Trent Yeomans, the Greater Western Ohio Conference's leading rusher, tallied 142 yards on the ground for Piqua. The senior running back sits at 897 yards rushing through five games. Tate Honeycutt returned a kickoff 92 yards for a TD for the Indians' first score.

Southeastern 16, Catholic Central 0: Sophomore Andrew Lyons drilled three field goals and defensive end Masen Severt returned a fumble 85 yards for a TD.

Spg. Shawnee 61, Greenon 0: The Braves won their third straight after opening with two losses. The shutout was the fourth suffered by Greenon, which has been outscored an average of 47-3.

Springboro 49, Northmont 7: Springboro's Devon Henry ran for 124 yards and DL Knock caught four passes for 123 yards. Jalen Christian rushed 20 times for 106 yards and a score for Northmont.

Springfield 35, Vandalia Butler 13: Springfield's Daniel Davis finished with 385 all-purpose yards. Davis took the opening kickoff 89 yards for a score. The sophomore added 168 yards rushing with a TD and 128 yards receiving with two TD receptions.

Tecumseh 55, Urbana 34: Tecumseh's Connor Henry scored six touchdowns. The Arrows racked up 307 yards rushing on 46 carries. Urbana quarterback Nathan Mays threw for 302 yards. Receivers Jaymen Neff-Strickland caught 10 passes for 132 yards and Ethan Edwards had five for 129.

Tippecanoe 49, Indian Lake 13: Austin Clack and Cameron Gibbs each scored two touchdowns for Tipp.

Trotwood 37, Lebanon 10: Trotwood's Kei Beckham and Harrison Johnson returned interceptions for touchdowns.

Troy Christian 48, Clermont NE 18: Troy Christian's Luke Dillahunt eclipsed 200 yards rushing for the third straight game. The junior had four TD runs and returned a punt 69 yards for another score.

TV South 49, Arcanum 7: Anthony Augspurger had 148 yards rushing for the Panthers, and Wes Cole added 115 yards rushing with two TDs.

Valley View 28, Franklin 10: Spartans QB Clay Smith was 10-of-14 for 292 yards passing with three TD passes, including a 71-yarder to Collin Genslinger to kick off the scoring in the first quarter. Genslinger had 181 yards receiving.

Wayne 45, Miamisburg 3: D'Mitrik Trice threw for 357 yards. Matt Wilcox was the recipient of most of those yards, compiling 176 yards and one touchdown. Greg Schroeder has 124 yards rushing and two TDs for Wayne.

WL-Salem 49, Northeastern 27: Trevor Anderson and Ben Burden had two TD runs each for the Tigers. Braden Phillips did the same for the Jets, including a 72-yard score in the second quarter.

Xenia 21, Troy 14: Xenia's Danny Naylor connected with Ray James on an 82-yard TD pass in the first quarter and Khalil Capers torched the Troy defense with a 62-yard scoring run to break a tie in the third quarter. Troy's Brandon Lee carried 33 times for 126 yards and a touchdown.
