Tuesday’s high school boys basketball highlights

Alter 59, Purcell Marian 50: The Knights (8-8) got 13 points and 10 rebounds from Michael Schwieterman and 12 points each from Chris Finke and Keegan Saben.

Carlisle 74, Brookville 60: Daulton Bulter scored 17 of his team-best 21 points in the first half to lift Carlisle. Cody Cox led Brookville with 28 points, including 7 three-pointers.

Centerville 76, Miamisburg 47: Elks senior Kyle Dodson made a career-best 6 three-pointers en route to a 22-point performance on Tuesday. Adam Giles finished with 21 points for Miamisburg. Centerville improves to 13-2, while Miamisburg drops to 7-8.

Dixie 48, Oakwood 46: Dixie (5-11) trailed 22-7 after the first quarter. Greyhounds junior Cody Grubb poured in a game-high 28 points.

Fairborn 59, Greenville 58: Jordan Pumroy's three-pointer at the buzzer was the difference as the Skyhawks (9-6) ended their three-game losing skid. Pumroy finished with 26 points. Greenville drops to 11-3.

Fairmont 73, West Carrollton 64: Garrett Sexton led the visiting Firebirds with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Kei'Vante Tanner added 10 points and 12 rebounds. Pirates senior Alex Craig posted his 12th double-double of the season, leading all scorers with 23 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.

Franklin 105, Eaton 47: The Wildcats (15-1) reached the century mark for the fifth time this year. Luke Kennard scored 42 points to lead Franklin. Evan Crowe added 23. Franklin Monroe 58, Arcanum 44

Madison 70, Edgewood 68, OT: Austin Philpot sank a 15-footer with three seconds to play in overtime to give Madison the win at home. Owen Palmer and Brad Malott each finished with 19 points for the Mohawks (10-4). Andrew Testas led the Cougars (4-11) with 19 points.

Miami East 91, Ansonia 36: Miami East's AJ Hickman surpassed 1,000 career points. Miami Valley 57, Dayton Christian 53: Tre Baker scored 25 points for Miami Valley.

Northmont 64, Piqua 59: Senior Jordan Lowery recorded 10 of his 20 points in the final period to lead Northmont to the comeback win. Jayson Peoples also finished with 20 points for the T-Bolts (7-8). Colton Bachman had 26 and Storm Cook added 24 for Piqua (8-8).

Roger Bacon 45, Carroll 36: Carroll (11-4) dropped back-to-back games for the first time this year. Jackson Jabir led the Patriots with 14 points.

Russia 51, Fort Loramie 48: Gavin Hoying had 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead Russia (13-2). Devin Braun scored 20 for Fort Loramie (11-5).

Springboro 69, Troy 49: Springboro (7-9) won its third straight as Drew Holweger scored 18 points to lead all scorers. Springfield 95, Sidney 64: Springfield sophomore Danny Davis was 10-of-14 shooting for 25 points. Cameron Gallimore led the Yellow Jackets with 19 points.

Tri-Village 86, National Trail 33: Division IV's top-ranked team was led by Colton Linkous who registered 27 points.

Troy Christian 80, Xenia Christian 39: The Eagles (13-2), ranked fifth in the latest Division IV state poll, had five players scoring in double digits, led by Grant Zawadzki's 15 points. Jonny Eustace tallied 12 points for Xenia Christian (5-11). Twin Valley South 62, Mississinawa Valley 37: Senior Wes Cole had a career-high 30 points to lead Twin Valley South (11-4).

Urbana 32, Bellefontaine 30: Cameron Logwood had 12 points and 5 rebounds for the Hillclimbers (14-1).

Xenia 74, Vandalia 59: Xenia reeled off its 10th straight win behind 24 points from Brent Bauer, including 5 three-pointers. Senior Khiyani Harris tied a season-high with 21 points for the Bucs (12-2).
