WEEK 10 FOOTBALL HIGHLIGHTS

GWOC Central

Centerville 19, Wayne 14: Kevin Smith had two of the Elks' five interceptions in the game. Centerville junior Tim Krapfel doubled his season's receiving output with 112 yards, including a 67-yard TD grab for the first score. Chad Swanson had 101 yards receiving and a TD for the Warriors.

Fairmont 42, Beavercreek 27: Jaryd Murphy threw for 2 TDs and ran for three more to lead Fairmont. Keivante Tanner caught five passes for 106 yards and a TD. Creek's Logan Turben rushed 24 times for 123 yards and a TD.

Northmont 34, Springfield 21: Avery Miliner (118 yards) and Ryan Smith (109) led the Thunderbolts' rushing attack. Smith also rushed for four touchdowns. Springfield sophomore Daniel Davis rushed 30 times for a career-high 259 yards and 3 TDs.

GWOC North

Greenville 30, Sidney 13: Greenville junior quarterback Clay Guillozet set the Green Wave's career passing record at 2,847 yards. Codi Byrd went over the 1,000 yard rushing mark after tallying 206 yards on the ground.

Piqua 41, Troy 10: Piqua's Trent Yoemans rushed for 164 yards to finish the season at 1,357 and a career mark of 3,425. The Indians evened the all-time series between the two teams at 62-62-6.

Trotwood-Madison 27, Vandalia Butler 6: Trotwood's Ryan Lucas caught a couple of TD passes from Messiah DeWeaver. Butler senior Michael Hutchinson cleared the 1,000 yard rushing mark with 104 yards on the ground to end the season at 1,044.

GWOC South

Miamisburg 56, West Carrollton 0: Senior Chris Young rushed six times for 120 yards. Camyrn Snow had 2 TD runs and returned the second half kickoff 80 yards for another score.

Springboro 27, Lebanon 6: Devon Henry finished the regular season with 1,023 rushing yards after a 72-yard, 2-TD performance.

Xenia 37, Fairborn 14: Khalil Capers rushed for 104 yards and scored twice for the Bucs. Xenia's Rocky James had two first quarter touchdown grabs. Nico Elam returned a punt 75 yards for a score for Fairborn.

CBC Kenton Trail

Kenton Ridge 19, Tippecanoe 16: Kenton Ridge scored all 19 points in the third quarter behind TD catches from Casey Turner and Brandon Davis and a 15-yard TD run from Jayden Davis. Jakob Prall and Cameron Gibbs had long TD runs for Tipp.

Spg. Shawnee 40, Stebbins 7: Zach Avery had 5 TD runs for Shawnee. Calvin Bransford returned a kickoff 67 yards for Stebbins.

CBC Mad River

Indian Lake 18, Ben Logan 7: Indian Lake's Joey Davidson had 138 rushing yards.

Northwestern 19, Greenon 0: Northwestern's Logan Vorhees rushed for 97 yards and a TD, while teammate Cole Baldwin rushed for 99 yards.

Urbana 41, Graham 2: Urbana QB Nathan Mays was 13-of-16 for 266 yards and 3 TDs passing. Mays wrapped up his high school career with 9,282 yards passing, good for 8th-best all-time according to OHSAA.

GCL North

Alter 42, Chaminade Julienne 21: Running for an Alter High School record 402 yards, senior quarterback Dusty Hayes scored all six of the Knights' touchdowns as Alter capped an undefeated regular season (10-0, 7-0) and won an outright GCL North title.

Fenwick 40, Carroll 7: Marcus LaJeunesse's 25-yard TD run in the fourth was the Patriots' only tally.

Ohio Heritage Conference

Cedarville 30, Northeastern 6: Cedarville QB Caleb Coe ran for two touchdowns and threw for another.

Mechanicsburg 27, Greeneview 6: Aeryton Erwin rushed for a game-high 182 yards and 2 TDs for the Indians. Rams QB Chance Frye tallied 124 yards on 21 carries, including a 19-yard TD run.

SWBL Buckeye

Carlisle 53, Dixie 6: Ridge Reed rushed for 282 yards with five touchdowns for Carlisle.

Madison 79, Northridge 0: Junior Nick Svada went over the 1,000 yard rushing mark with his fifth straight 100+ yard effort. Svarda and Stephen Melton each rushed for 3 touchdowns. Zach Friend added 101 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

Waynesville 21, Milton-Union 12: Waynesville's entire offense came on the ground (317 yards rushing), led by Troy Black who had 126 yards on 11 carries. Brad Stine finished with 73 yards rushing for the Bulldogs.

SWBL Southwestern

Brookville 28, Franklin 8: Harry Hall, Bailey Wallen, Justin Heck, and Ryan Walz each had a rushing touchdown for the Blue Devils. Matt Thompson's 4-yard score in the fourth quarter accounted for the Wildcats' points.

Oakwood 12, Bellbrook 6: Michael Hoecht's 9-yard scamper in the fourth quarter lifted Oakwood to the upset win on the road.

Valley View 40, Eaton 23: Valley View's Clay Smith scored touchdowns on a fumble return, interception return, and a rushing TD. Matt Valenti returned a kickoff 73 yards for a score for the Spartans.

Cross County Conference

Arcanum 41, Bethel 14: Brandon Kinney was the workhorse for Arcanum. Unofficially, he carried the ball 42 times for 177 yards and three touchdowns. Josh Wills had a pair of 35-yard touchdown runs for Bethel.

Covington 24, Ansonia 6: Ethan Herron had a pair of late TD runs for the Buccs.

Miami East 14, TV South 7: Colton McKinney carried the ball 20 times for 96 yards and a TD for the Vikings.

Tri-County North 41, National Trail 0: Dustin Green and Colton Booth each ran in a pair of touchdowns as Tri-County North (9-0) pulled off its first undefeated season since 1977.

Midwest Athletic Conference

Coldwater 47, New Bremen 0: Seven different players found the end zone for the Cavaliers.

Marion Local 50, Delphos SJ's 0: Hunter Wilker ran for a pair of TDs and caught a third for the undefeated Flyers.

St. Henry 21, Anna 13: St. Henry recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score and Caleb Bender returned a fumble 40 yards for another tally. Anna running back Christiaan Williams had an 83-yard TD run in the second quarter.

Miami Valley Conference

Clark Montessori 35, Dayton Christian 12: Blake Isaacs threw three TD passes and finished with 251 yards through the air.

Northwest Central Conference

Fort Loramie 22, Riverside 21, OT: Brad Pleiman's 1-yard TD run and two-point conversion rush in overtime sent Fort Loramie into the D-VII, Region 26 playoffs.

Lehman Catholic 48, Upper Scioto 6: Lehman clinched the outright NWCC title.

South Central Ohio League

Clinton-Massie 64, East Clinton 0: The Massie defense registered a team-record sixth shutout of the season. Davey Tunon and Chayse Wolf each had two TD runs.

Non-conference

Troy Christian 18, Waynesfield-Goshen 0: Luke Dillahunt went over the 2,000 rushing yard plateau and registered three TD runs.
