Kizer, Browns beaten down by Ravens in 'growing experience'

After a gutsy performance Week 1, Sunday was a true welcome to the NFL for Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer.

Kizer turned the ball over four times, left the game with a migraine and lost to the Ravens by two touchdowns.

"Everything I said we couldn't do, we did," head coach Hue Jackson said. "That's a growing experience for our guys."

Kizer said it was “unacceptable,” though he knows he must learn from every experience.

“He’s not going to get rattled by this,” Jackson said. “He’ll go back to work with more resolve and understand that being on top of every little thing is so important – how important every throw is. But you can’t miss them, and the other team gets them. He’ll grow from this.”

The Browns face the 0-2 Colts next week.
