The 6-foot-6 Smith is a four-star 2018 prospect and the No. 3 player in the state of Ohio according to 247sports composite rankings.

He caught 32 passes for 563 yards and seven touchdowns for the GWOC National East champion Warriors.

Also a standout basketball player, Smith was the Warriors leading scorer at 17.0 points per game last season. He was second in the GWOC in rebounding at 10.0 per game.

Wayne teammate Alex Reigelsperger, a three-star defensive end, has committed to Kentucky and tweeted frequently about his desire to bring Smith with him to Lexington.

Smith and Reigelsperger are part of a large group of highly sought-after recruits in the area for 2018.
