Reds activate Billy Hamilton from DL

The Reds have activated outfielder Billy Hamilton from the disabled list a day after he complained about being sidelined.

"I'm in a bad, frustrated mood right now. I want to get out there and play," Hamilton said Tuesday.

Hamilton fractured his thumb Sept. 6. He said he’s pain-free, and Reds manager Brian Price had hinted towards activating him before he could hit so he could be used as a pinch-runner.
