HS Results 11/29: Boro beats Stebbins, Lingg reaches milestone

MacKenzie Lingg of Stebbins reached a career milestone, but Springboro prevailed 76-36 in a girls basketball game on Wednesday.

Lily Browning paced ‘Boro with 23 points. Jordan Diehl added 14 and Rachel Gillum 12.

Lingg led Stebbins with 15, including her 1,000th career point.

Girls Basketball

Beavercreek 95, Xenia 19: Alyssa Hall scored 17 points and Cori Dilsavor added 13 to lead six players in double-digit scoring for ‘Creek. Trinity Morton-Nooks had 15 for Xenia.

Northmont 46, Greenville 31: Shalaya Heath had 16 points and Camryn Nadir 10 for Northmont. Morgan Gilbert led Greenville with nine.

Lebanon 68, Fairborn 23: Kendall Folley led Lebanon with 19 points and Sydney Hanna tacked on 12.

Fairfield 63, Lakota East 52: Maddie Schaeffer tallied 13 points off the bench and Zahrya Bailey added 12 for Fairfield. Jordan Stanley and Megan Hatfield had 12 apiece for East.

Lakota West 75, Oak Hills 32: Nevaeh Dean was 6-of-8 from the floor with 15 points and Ally Haar added 10 to lead West.

Chaminade Julienne 65, Cedarville 36: Annie Weckesser put up 15 points, Dallas Jones added 13 and Eve Monaghan had 12 points with 10 rebounds to lead CJ. Maggie Coe carried Cedarville with 17 points.

Badin 54, Talawanda 32: Shelby Nusbaum put up 16 points with nine rebounds and Emma Broermann added 11 points for Badin. Addie Brown had 14 points in a losing effort for Talawanda.

Tecumseh 78, Butler 49: Presley Griffits poured in 25 points and Corinne Thomas tallied 23 for Tecumseh.

Westerville North 52, Kenton Ridge 46: Mikala Morris recorded 21 points in a losing effort for Ridge.

Ponitz 50, Graham 48: Brook Johannes tallied 19 points with 10 rebounds and Lexi King added 13 points but Graham’s rally effort fell short.

Clark Montessori 61, New Miami 14: Arielle Scalf recorded 11 points with four steals in a losing effort for New Miami.

Boys Bowling

Lebanon 2440, Sycamore 2129: Gabe Taulbee had the high series of 436 and Trevor Bottles added a 428 to lead Lebanon.

Middletown 2201, Talawanda 2009: Matthew Minor bowled two games of 221 to lead Middletown.

Ben Logan 2074, Riverside 1657: Zach Barnes rolled games of 169 and 171 and Daulton Shields had a 175 to lead Ben Logan.

Lebanon 2694, Sycamore 894: Kelsey Funderburg bowled a 426 series and Amanda Rearick added a 416 for Lebanon.

Middletown 1874, Talawanda 1284: Emily Cupp had the high game of 192 and Crystal Kroener added a 171 for the Middies.

Ben Logan 2228, Riverside 1541: Freshman Erica Warne tallied a 378 series and Kaylee Nicholas added a 377 for Ben Logan.
