Baseball
Stebbins 5, Sidney 2: Dylan Walters and Jordan Stone both drove in a pair of runs to pace Stebbins, which scored three runs in the first inning then held off a late Sidney rally. Caleb Harris had a RBI for Sidney.
Madison 10, Preble Shawnee 2: Dustin Skinner struck out 11 in a complete game, Reid Davis homered and brought in five runs and Ethan Limon plated a pair of runs to lead Madison. Luke Lovely went 2-for-3 with a RBI and run scored for Preble.
Triad 8, Tecumseh 6: Trevor Instine was 3-for-3 with a triple and Dustin Bruce 2-for-3 with a double to lead Triad. Davey Berner and Will Sowder both were 2-for-2 for Tecumseh, which scored six runs in the fourth inning but couldn’t complete the rally.
Northeastern 10, Madison Plains 4: NE captured the Ohio Heritage Conference South title with the victory. Dylan Hand was the winning pitcher and he helped his cause by going 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI. Bo Davis added two RBI and Alex Lockwood hit two doubles.
Fairbanks 4, Southeastern 3: Jay Connor scored two runs out of the leadoff spot but Fairbanks pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge SE.
Riverside 10, Waynesfield-Goshen 0: Zayne Hakes and Seth Barhorst both doubled, and Trey Lane and Andrew Racine scored two runs apiece for Riverside.
New Bremen 6, Lincolnview 0: Ryan Bertke tallied two hits and drove in three runs and Luke Vonderhaar added two runs scored for New Bremen.
Anna 2, Marion Local 0: Colin Wuebker hit a two-out RBI single to give Anna the edge in the rain-shortened game.
Fort Loramie 5, St. Henry 2: C.J. Billing homered to help Loramie in a game shortened by weather.
Softball
Northmont 6, Fairmont 1: Sydney Weaver improved to 7-2 with the win, also hitting a double and a home run to lead Northmont. Shelbi Tharps tripled for Fairmont.
Badin 15, Carroll 2: Nicole Rawlings ran her record to 19-1 and Badin improved to 20-1 with the victory. Shelby Schmitt, Sam Sander and Rawlings also had homers in the win.
Indian Lake 12, Covington 6: Lake exploded for eight runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, including a base-clearing triple from Libby Cotterman, to win in rally fashion.
Triad 6, West Liberty-Salem 5: Abby Ehrenborg doubled twice in a 4-for-4 night for Triad. Hallie Strapp tallied two doubles for WLS.
Boys Tennis
Greenville 3, Eaton 2: The doubles team of Aaron Lobenstein and Josh Galloway prevailed over Eaton’s John Altom and Matthew Weight in a three-set contest to help Greenville get the victory.
Tecumseh 5, Fairborn 0: Christian Hunt, Jacob Lewis and both of Tecumseh’s doubles teams won their matches in straight sets.
Boys Volleyball
Carroll 3, Purcell Marian 0: Andrew Gard totaled 22 kills and Spencer Bethel added 39 assists in the win for Carroll.
