Dec. 18, 2011 – Cincinnati Bengals 20, St. Louis Rams 13 at Edward Jones Dome

Cedric Benson and Bernard Scott each ran for touchdowns, and the Cincinnati defense hit Rams quarterback Kellen Clemens 10 times, including three sacks, as the Bengals snapped to a two-game losing streak to improve to 8-6 on the way to qualifying for the playoffs.

Dec. 18, 2006 – Indianapolis Colts 34, Cincinnati Bengals 16 at RCA Dome

Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning threw four touchdowns passes, three of which were short ones to Marvin Harrison (1, 3 and 4 yards), as the eventual Super Bowl champions scored the win on Monday Night Football to start the Bengals on a season-ending three-game losing streak that leave them out of the playoffs.

Dec. 18, 2005 – Cincinnati Bengals 41, Detroit Lions 17 at Ford Field

Carson Palmer threw touchdown passes to Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Kelley Washington while Rudi Johnson ran for 117 yards and a pair of scores as the Bengals clinched their first division championship in 17 years.

Dec. 18, 1994 – Arizona Cardinals 28, Cincinnati Bengals 7 at Sun Devil Stadium

The Bengals turned the ball over three times and gained just 189 yards as they lost their fifth game in a row to fall to 2-13.

Dec. 18, 1977 – Houston Oilers 21, Cincinnati Bengals 16 at the Astrodome

Houston wide receiver Billy “White Shoes” Johnson caught six passes for 138 yards and a touchdown to keep the Bengals out of the playoffs. Cincinnati needed a win or a Pittsburgh loss to clinch the AFC Central, but the Bengals fell behind 15-6 after three quarters and were unable to rally while Pittsburgh squeaked out a 10-9 victory against San Diego to capture the division.
