Australia Floods Recede as Death Toll Rises

The death toll from floods in Australia has risen to six as flood levels began to recede across the states of Queensland and New South Wales. A deluge fed by Cyclone Oswald dumped more than 200 millimetres of rain in some areas over the past few days, swelling rivers and swamping towns. Police said they found the bodies of the fifth and sixth victims in the Lockyer Valley, west of Queensland's capital Brisbane.
