Forest Fire Rages in Southwestern China
A force of more than 1,500 people managed to put a fire raging through China's southwestern Yunnan province under control Thursday, state media reported. Xinhua said that although local authorities reported that the fire is under control, it has not entirely been extinguished. So far, there have been no reports of any casualties or injuries related to the incident.
