Man dies in industrial accident at Franklin business

What do red light cameras catch?

Red light camera programs around the state are in limbo because of an Ohio law which requires officers to be present at each intersection with photo enforcement devices. Several Ohio cities – including Springfield – are fighting the legislation in court.

Springfield has 17 cameras located at 10 intersections throughout the city. Since 2007, the cameras have activated more than 116,000 times, issuing about 77,000 tickets worth $3.4 million in revenue for Springfield.

What do those cameras see? Watch examples below.
