    The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

    Portions of Indiana, Northern Kentucky, and Ohio, including
    the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN,
    Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN, and Wayne.
    In Northern Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll,
    Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton. In Ohio, Adams,
    Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke,
    Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton,
    Highland, Hocking, Madison, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike,
    Preble, Ross, Scioto, and Warren.

    Until 4 PM EDT this afternoon.

    Showers and thunderstorms will continue to occur into the
    afternoon before finally diminishing. With many areas already
    saturated from earlier rainfall, additional rain may cause flash
    flooding, especially with any heavier rainfall.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

    People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
    prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
    occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
    and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.

    At 914 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line
    extending from near Waynesville to 6 miles northeast of Morrow to
    near New Richmond, moving northeast at 55 mph.

    STORM HAZARDS INCLUDE...
    Winds to 40 mph...
    Nickel size hail...
    Very heavy rain...

    Locations impacted include...
    Xenia, Springboro, Wilmington, Bellbrook, Blanchester, Amelia,
    Cedarville, Mount Orab, Waynesville, New Richmond, Sabina,
    Williamsburg, Jamestown, Batavia, Lynchburg, New Vienna, Morrow,
    Wilberforce, Russell and New Jasper.

    This includes I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 35 and 67.

    Water will pond on roads and may quickly fill roadside ditches and
    small streams.

    approaching the area from the west. Up to 3 inches of rain has
    already fallen across the advisory area. Another 1 to 2 inches
    will be possible.

    Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
    and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
    streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

    Lebanon, Springboro, Wilmington, Monroe, Loveland, Franklin,
