DETAILED FORECAST

Clouds will continue to increase during the overnight hours as rain approaches, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Lows will fall into the middle 30s with rain showers moving in prior to daybreak on Tuesday.

Tuesday: A cold and rainy morning with temperatures just above freezing as rain approaches from the south. We'll see wet roads and breezy conditions through the morning commute before showers move to the east during the day. The evening commute should be less active as rain continues to move to the north and east into the evening. Highs will be in the lower to middle 40s, with overnight lows dropping to around 30 degrees.

Wednesday: Temperatures will start around 30 degrees, possibly creating some slick spots on the roads to any lingering wet spots, but the morning commute shouldn't be too problematic. Some sun and scattered clouds during the day with temperatures cooler than normal in the upper 30s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy during the day with a chance for some flurries early in the day. Temperatures will be much cooler as we start out in the 20s with a high temperature around 30 degrees.

Friday: Temperatures in the upper teens to start the day, with highs remaining about ten to 20 degrees below normal, only reaching the upper 20s. Expect more clouds than sun during the day.
