Winds, clouds increase before evening showers Wednesday

DETAILED FORECAST

Clouds will continue to stream across the Miami Valley as temperatures slowly drop through the 50s after sunset, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

“Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy through the night. Clouds should keep temperatures from dropping below 40 degrees, however some areas may reach into the upper 30s by morning,” Elwell said.

Wednesday: Clouds will continue to thicken through the day with gusty winds developing by late afternoon. A few showers will continue into the night. A rumble of thunder will also be possible. Highs will be in the lower 60s.

Thursday: Scattered showers will be possible early in the morning with lingering clouds and breezy conditions in the afternoon. High temperatures will be a bit cooler, holding in the upper 50s.

Friday: Skies will be mostly sunny with seasonable temperatures in the lower 60s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy skies and unseasonably mild temperatures will start the weekend. Highs will soar into the lower 70s by afternoon.

Sunday: Clouds will increase with the threat for passing showers. Highs will be in the middle 60s.
